Union League Club of Chicago

65 W. Jackson Blvd.

Chicago, IL

Join the Union League Club of Chicago for a screening of Hairy Who & The Chicago Imagists, followed by a lively discussion with Hairy Who artists Gladys Nilsson, Suellen Rocca, and Karl Wirsum moderated by the film's writer John Corbett.

This event is part of the Union League Club's Lectures in American Art series, which features talks by artists, curators, scholars, collectors, and gallerists specializing in American art. With one or more of the Club's artworks serving as the inspiration for each lecture, the series places the collection within a broader context and offers new views about specific works.

This program begins at 5:30 pm with a signature cocktail reception, followed by the film screening at 6 pm. The panel discussion will immediately follow the film. Heavy hors d'oeuvres, movie treats, and signature bar are available throughout the program.

The cost is $25 per person, inclusive. Reservations are required; to reserve a seat call 312-435-5942 or email Elizabeth Whiting at ewhiting@ulcc.org.

Please note that the Union League Club's dress code will be in effect for this event: no jeans, gym shoes, or athletic wear allowed.
