"Hairy Who" On Display at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art

Hairy Who & The Chicago Imagists will screen continuously in the exhibition learning center from September 18, 2015 - January 3, 2016 at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) in Wisconsin in conjunction with their exhibition of selections from their permanent collection, "Taking Their Place." More information about the exhibition can be found here.

MMoCA's permanent collection includes one of the country's most comprehensive groupings of Chicago Imagist art, several pieces of which will be on view in "Taking Their Place."

The exhibition learning center is within the museum, and can be accessed during regular museum hours (here). Admission to MMoCA is free. Both "Taking Their Place" and Hairy Who will be on view September 18, 2015 - January 3, 2016.

"Hairy Who" will have its first European screening at the Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien (mumok) on Wednesday, January 13th at 7 pm. The screening is presented in conjunction with mumok's exhibition Always, Always Others: Non-Classical Forays Into Modernism, organized by artist Ulrike Müller and curator Manuela Ammer. The exhibition is made up of work from mumok's permanent collection of Modernist artwork, including examples from their deep holdings of Chicago Imagist artwork.
