Archive-O-Rama at the Ed Paschke Art Center

Saturday, July 18, 2015

Ed Paschke Art Center

5415 W. Higgins Avenue

Chicago, IL

Pentimenti is pleased to be partnering with the Ed Paschke Art Center to present a free screening of Hairy Who & The Chicago Imagists followed by an afternoon of digging into the important subject of archives.

After the film, Join Pentimenti Productions filmmakers Ben Kolak and Brian Ashby for a discussion about the research and assembly process of the film, and get a behind-the-scenes peek at out-takes, shorts and cutting room floor clips that didn’t make it in the final cut. Learn more about the outstanding online resource ChicagoImagists.com from Director of Operations Susannah Ribstein and take a virtual guided tour of the site. Explore never-before-seen objects, source material and art-making supplies pulled from Ed Paschke’s Howard Street Studio archive and made available by EPAC staff. Have something Paschke related you'd like to donate to our archives? Bring it with, tell us about it, and help us grow this treasure trove of primary source material!

More information about the event can be found on EPAC's website here. Please check back in the future for more details, and to RSVP!
